Movies, spaghetti and wine.
It has been rainy today. It started lightning and thundering last night. I was OK with that. The girls and I really needed a down day. We rented:
The Adventures of TinTin on Blu-ray and the quality of the picture was so good that Autumn didn't believe it was a cartoon at first. I really enjoyed the movie and would watch it again.
I also rented Hugo, but I'm going to watch that tonight.
Autumn square pants came to our room last night and demanded to sleep with me. I told her that she is not allowed to sleep in our room anymore, that I would walk her back to her room every time, so she might as well stay in her bed. Then she tells me that she just misses you and that she wants to talk to you, so we called to leave you a message. I'm not sure how well you will be able to hear the girl on your voice mail and it took us two tries. The first time she didn't understand you wouldn't be on the other line (OK, I'll admit, that was completely a Cherish fail). She kept saying, "Daddy, where are you? Why aren't you talking? Then the phone hung up on us, so I don't even know if that message was left or not. We called again and she said, "Daddy, I love you and I miss Miss Keri and Miss Tricia." I took Autumn back to her room and she slept there through the night.
Miss Millie is still doing excellent. She has been asking for you, but she is easily distracted. She had a really good day of potty training today, no accidents and she even told me this time when she needed to go number two! That is a huge improvement over yesterday. It seems to go that way though. We'll have 3 or 4 really good days, followed by one bad day and repeat. I'll take it!
For dinner tonight, I had wine. Just kidding! I didn't even open that. I couldn't. There is no way I could drink an entire bottle of wine by myself. We had spaghetti, garlic bread and I had a salad too. Autumn fell asleep while I was cooking dinner, so Millie and I went on and ate without her. Millie totally swiped Autumn's garlic bread! I'm assuming payback for Autumn taking Millie's crescent roll the other day.
Autumn is still asleep now. I hope she is just really tired and not getting sick. We have a game tomorrow, if it doesn't get rained out. I am still hoping that you will be able to call tonight or at least soon. I love you and miss you.
