Callaway Gardens.
My mom told me there was going to be a time change last night, but I completely forgot. When I woke up this morning, I noticed my Nook and my cell phone were an hour ahead! Ops! Just another reason we need you here.
The girls finally slept through the night last night. Autumn came and got me about midnight, she needed help going to the bathroom. We both went right back to sleep and then I woke up again at 8 am (7 am).
I made plans earlier in the week to meet with your parents and drive up to Callaway to see Brett and Jennifer. I was trying to get everyone ready when I apparently interrupted an extremely important
Phone call. Can you see Millie as a teenager, or worse, an adult in this photo?
I told Autumn we were going to the Garden's, so she comes out wearing:
Her swimsuit. She is no fool. She knows there is a beach at the garden's. Sure, her top is on backwards, but that doesn't really matter does it? What about the fact that it was 57 degrees and windy outside?
Autumn took this picture of me. Can you tell that I'm tired?
Apparently we go from one extreme to another. Swimsuit to winter cap.
Autumn wanted to show you this. She made it at school.
We finally made it to the Gardens'. That is your mom and dad way on in the distance.
Geese seem to be a big part of our lives lately.
Since Brett and Jennifer weren't there yet, we decided to take a little walk with Grandma and Grandpa Jordan.
Random Roww sighting.
Grandpa helping Millie to smell the flowers.
Autumn Harvest smelling the flowers.
To my suprise, Millie let your dad give her a "der ride."
Can you guess why she looks that way? I can!
We made our way back to the beach to eat lunch with Brett, Jennifer, Alex, Anna, Bowman and Violet. After the kids ate, they all went out on the playground and played.
Alex.
Autumn.
Bo.
Can you tell she is having a blast.
They were having a great time on the slide together!
Time for putt putt. Brett tried to show Autumn how to use the putter, but she didn't really pick up on it! She managed in her own way.
Then we took a walk on the trail. I noticed that some people do not really encourage exploring, but I just held back and let Autumn go off where she wanted and check out what she wanted. After our walk, we had to stop by the park one last time.
Millie
I would like to tell you what was going on here, but it was so weird, I don't know how to explain it. The older kids were all pretending to be cats and I think Millie was pretending to dominate the world.
Next up, the butterfly center. I'm only adding this picture because of the look on Autumn's face!
They sure do not make it easy!
Finally! A great shot with everyone in it! Autumn, Anna, Emelia, Alex and Bo. Plus the infamous flower. We are not sure who picked it. It was either Autumn or Anna. We aren't 100% that they even picked it so much as they picked it up. At least, that is my story and I'm sticking to it!
Uncle Brett!!
Millie.
Autumn square pants.
Alex.
Violet.
Anna.
The Brett's left after the butterfly center, but the girls and I wanted to hit up a few more trails. We went over to the Callaway Brothers Azalea Bowl. Walked for a bit and came upon a bridge with this view.
Autumn is getting really good at letting me take her picture.
Millie square pants.
Stopping to smell the flowers. I told Autumn this was one of your favorite things to do.
My turn. Thank you Autumn.
Random Roww sighting again!
Lastly, I wanted a picture of us 3 girls.
Fail!
Much better. Missing you dearly.
Your current wife and favorite airman. xoxo
