St Patty's Day
I didn't get but maybe four hours of sleep last night. It is strange, I logged on to facebook when I couldn't sleep and I noticed that Spice, Lamaze, and Blum were all saying the same thing. Funny how that happens. I think I ended up getting about four hours of sleep.
The girls slept well at least. They were letting me catch up on some news and I went to check on them and discovered:
Do you see what they trapped in there? Autumn was beating that like it was some sort of drum.
She wanted to show you her ladybug shirt. She also asked me today "Did the Leprechaun go back home?" I told her, yes! She seemed very relieved.
Millie showing you her Toucan. She wore that to bed last night, but refused to change out of it this morning.
I got everybody ready to go, we swung by and picked up your mom and then drove up to Jennifer and Brett's house. Jennifer invited your mom and I to a Pampered Chef party. Brett watched all the kids, by himself. I was feeling really nervous about that because Millie doesn't like for me to leave her. We were just down the road though and Jennifer kept in touch with Brett to let me know how Millie was doing. Apparently, as long as no one asked her if she needed to go to the bathroom, she was just fine. She even held Brett's hand! I was shocked to hear that because Millie usually doesn't like to touch people or have people touch her! This experience makes me think that Millie starting school this fall won't be so bad.
I should also add in here that Millie did not have a single accident at the Brett's today. Let me correct that statement, Millie hasn't had a single accident today. Listen, she isn't really good at telling me when she has to go. I just have sort of figured out her schedule and just tell her to go and do it. You should see how big she smiles when she does. It is amazing!
I only ordered two things from the Pampered Chef party, but I have to tell you, your mom cracked me up! The consultant used to be a former teacher (retired) and I have to say, she really did remind me of a school marm. She was talking about something and most of us were chatting among ourselves, your mom was looking very diligently through the order book. The consultant called your mom out! She said, "Phyllis, are you looking?" She did it in a school teacher way too! I knew immediately that your mom would be embarrassed, but really, we were all talking and your mom was actually looking in the catalog!
Then towards the end the consultant was telling us how much money she has done in sales this month. She said it is March 17th and I've already done $4,000 in sales and your mom says, "Well, good for you." She meant that in a very nice way, but it came across like, "la ti da. Good for you, you braggart!" I almost fell out of my chair laughing because I knew your mom didn't mean it the way it sounded!
Anyway, we had to get back to the kids and as I walked up to the Brett's house, I saw Autumn:
Riding a bike.
We sat for a bit and then packed up and came home. Your mom stopped by to catch up on show that we both watch and after she left, Millie and I:
Knocked out.
Now I need to do my workout and dinner, but I really don't feel like doing either of those. I'm just so tired. I miss you.

16 days of sleeping badly without you.
