Crickets.
I did some cooking this morning. Not much. Most of what I was doing didn't require cooking, just preparation. We needed to run to the store for milk and a baguette plus a few other items. Man, organic milk is expensive. $5.99 a gallon. I bought two because we seem to go through it so fast. I'm thankful we can afford it. The girls seem to prefer it over regular milk, although they will still drink the regular stuff too.
Anyway, when we got home, we took our bikes out of the shed and ate our lunch out on the driveway. The girls munched and rode their bikes.
I made Millie wear pants and a coat today and then when we actually went outside, I realized it wasn't all that cold. The first thing Millie told me was that it was hot. She lost that jacket pretty fast.
On our way over to the store, we saw can head cat. He was back in front of the house we picked him up from. I am glad to know he made it back home.
Autumn was in a bit of a mood because I told her the last 3 or 4 feet of the drive way was off limits. I figured it out though... I told her it was more to protect Millie from being run over by a car than to restrict her in where she could go. That worked... for now.
It was so bright outside, she couldn't keep her eyes open.
It was nice to get some Vit D! I want to tell you about how the wives get together went, but I'll wait until I can talk to you on the phone.
Just so you know, no one was punched in the face and there was no food leftover, so I'm a happy camper!
Autumn said something smelled funny (honestly, I think it was her!) so she came up with this to close her nostrils off. What a weird girl.
I want to thank you for teaching our girls to be so weird!!!!!! Autumn brought out the skeleton hand, sat underneath the table and then randomly would pop the skeleton hand up. After, she was chased about the room by Millie who was all the while hollering, "Zombies.... brains...."!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Once everyone left, I went to the kitchen to start cleaning up the dishes. There wasn't much, but I still wanted to fill the sink with water. I grabbed the drain plug and when I lifted it up, I saw this cricket.
It scared me for half a second! I got a piece of paper and captured him, but of course he jumped at me and that creeped me out! I put him outdoors, where he belongs. How on earth did he get up there?
I love you.
