We call this Thursday.
The temperatures did not drop as low as they had expected so it doesn't look like we will get snow/sleet or ice here. I'm glad I didn't mention possible snow to Autumn. She would have been very disappointed.
I went to Target today to pick up Autumn's birthday present. After, I stopped by TFM and grabbed a
Harvest Brie and Pork sandwich! It was good! I ate half of it for lunch and will finish up the other half tomorrow.
Next up was another trip to Sears. I picked up some items for the girls. I was going to share the pictures with you, but I've changed my mind. It will be a surprise.
Then I ran to Walmart to pick up the stuff I need for Saturday's WWE. Then I went to your mom's to show her the girls dresses and I left Autumn's birthday gift there. Now I don't have to worry about hiding it. Your mom showed me what she got them (a teapot for Autumn and Minnie Mouse teapot for Millie).
I picked up the girls, came home. Talked to you for a bit and then started some housework.
I'm not really sure why they find it so much fun when I move the furniture around, but they do! I also wanted to show you what their chains look like now. They really like the idea of the chain. When Miss Keri put Autumn in the car today, she was telling her all about it.
After scrubbing, polishing, shining the wood floor (whatever you call it), I folded a mountain of laundry. I didn't realize there was so much to fold! Then it was time for a break.
Millie brought me this thing that looks like a crayon and asked me to "open" it. I did, expecting for there to be a crayon inside and discovered it was bubbles.
That brought on bubble fun.
I was blowing the bubbles at first, but then Autumn took over.
She did an excellent job.
Crack head!
Sweet Millie.
Random it doesn't make any sense. Almost there as far as feeling better.
I made the girls a pallet on the floor (we do this every Thursday since there is no school on Friday) and watched movies.
Don't you wish you were here? Isn't she just an angel?
I usually let the girls stay up late, until they request to go to bed.
Autumn helped me make dinner. Spaghetti all'Amatriciana. It was delicious! I had a glass of wine with it.
Once I get finished typing to you, I will go and grab my book and hang out with the little people and enjoy our fire.
We were supposed to go and see Jennifer tomorrow, but her brood are sick. We shall pass. I may or may not take the people to Monkey Joe's. We may just stay home. I just don't know yet.
I still have some work to do around the house to prepare for the get together.
I love you and miss you much.
Your current wife and favorite airman. xoxo
The count: 118 and 76 days of wishing for you.
