Getting caught up.
So much to say and show you. Autumn has been sick. I don't know if it is a 24 hour stomach bug or just an upset stomach, but last night was not pleasant. She hasn't thrown up today, but she is still having some other issues. She seems like she feels OK. We both took a four hour nap today (Maybe we are jet lagged?).
Devonne was admitted to the hospital this evening. It is likely she has pneumonia. She is waiting to be seen by a pulmonologist. I'm very worried for her and I hope they can get a handle on it soon.
So, I still owe you some pictures from McChord.
The view of billeting as you walk in the door. Yes, Autumn was watching Dinosaur train.
A full service kitchen. Complete with fridge, stove, dishwasher, pots/pans, silverware and dishes.
The living room.
Down the hall was the bathroom, the bedroom and that door on the right hand side before the bathroom was the washer and dryer.
The bedroom, complete with closet, TV, DVD and VHS.
The washer and dryer. So it is small, but it works!
Autumn being silly.
The Christmas tree at the USO. It was a beautiful tree donated by VFW #81. At first you think it is just a patriotic tree, but as you get closer you see:
Little Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, and Navy figurines with names below them. It was quite sobering to walk up close and see "MSgt Elmer Clark" or:
"Fred Brown Jr"
The USO was wonderful. We ate, slept, watched movies and enjoyed a comfortable place to hang out until our shuttle arrived to take us to the airport.
I love you and miss you. Sorry for the book.
Your favorite wife and airman. xoxo
The count: 38 days.
