New Year's Eve.

Autumn and I had such a good time New Year's Eve. It left my heart feeling conflicted, pulled in two different directions because I was having such a good time, but missing you so much.

We went to Towne Square to check out the ice sculptures. Much to my dismay, there weren't nearly as many as the past two years we have gone. There were some though and we enjoyed looking at them.

Ice Princesses
Sitting on our ice throne.

We hung outside for about half an hour and then decided to head indoors and get warm before our dinner reservations.

In the mall
Autumn has her purse and her tote.

Going to the jewlery store
You know what she really wants though? Jewelry! Autumn stopped at every shop that had hats, purses, shoes and un-stuffed animals (build a bear).

Tote and Purse
She didn't want to carry much though, just her tote. I had to carry the coats and her purse! I feel like I am her staff sometimes.

We had a 5 course meal at Sullivan's. We started with Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail. Autumn ate it! I was kind of shocked. She even tried the cocktail sauce (not a fan of that), then we had Caesar Salad, NY Strip Steak, French Fries (Autumn LOVED the steak and fries) then followed up with Chocolate Mouse, fresh whipped cream and strawberries. If I even tried a bite, she would scream mine and yank the martini glass away from me!! Our waiter was kind enough to take a photo for us.

Sullivans
I was surprised to see she was actually smiling in this one. It didn't last long though:

Pick me up
Autumn wants to be carried everywhere outside. It is super annoying because of being pregnant. Hopefully this is just a phase and not some weird Autumn tick!

Watching the fire dancers
Watching the fire show. There were fire breathers and fire dancers. We had a good time watching!

Volcano
This year they had a volcano which Autumn thoroughly enjoyed!

After about two hours in single digit temperatures, we made our way back to the parking garage. I purposefully parked at the Penny garage because I knew we would get a good view of the fireworks. Little did I know that it would frighten poor Autumn. We watched from outside the car for about ten minutes and when Autumn started burying her head into my chest, I decided we should watch from the warm car.

Fireworks
I still thought it was a good time even though Autumn was so upset.

More fireworks
The cold weather zapped my battery, so this is the only photo I got of the fireworks. It was an awesome show with a great big finale. Autumn really did enjoy watching from the car!

A few minutes after getting Autumn out of her snowsuit and into something dry, I put her in her car seat, look back and see:
Knocked out
Autumn knocked out! It took an hour to get out of that parking garage, but no big deal, wasn't like I had anything else to do. I was just glad to be out of the cold! Overall, minus you being away, we had a blast! I miss you Sean Jordan and want you home more than anything else.

Your Favorite wife and airman. xoxo

60 days without you.
