Good bye 2012

We didn't have a very exciting day, just a day. The children are driving me bonkers. I really am looking forward to them going back to school and getting on some semblance of a schedule/routine again. It has been nice to not have plans, and just do what we feel like, but I'm ready to get back to an exercise routine that doesn't involve pushing that heavy jogger! I did my insanity workout today and ran for 30 minutes. Tomorrow it is supposed to rain, so I will be doing my chores I neglected today. My fitness group on facebook asked me to post a video doing push ups and I came up with this: I couldn't get Barbie to do a real push up though, her arms wouldn't bend properly! I still find it humorous though. Now that all my workout stuff is complete, I wanted to get some pictures of the girls. Autumn was pretending to be Pepper. Doesn't she look scary?? Sweet girl. Working on climbing that pole. She told me she was a gorilla. The girls...

Cherish has got to run.

2nd time out with this bad boy, but this time, it was for a run. Getting location is MUCH faster than with that huge thing I use to wear. The girls and I did 2 miles today. I wanted to do 3, but I was really spent after 2. The cool air was doing my lungs in. The snot was everywhere.... it was GROSS! I almost ralphed all that Indian food up. UGH! Tomorrow I will go again. Maybe I will walk the first mile and then run. It is supposed to rain later this week. Like Tue/Wed and Thurs so I figure I better get a run in while it is sunny. When we got back from running, I decided what the hell? I'll take the Christmas lights down too. Do you see where I messed up the ladder. I need to purchase a new one. This one is pretty awful anyway. If you have a suggestion, want or need, please let me know. I won't make the purchase right away as it is not a priority. It took me about 15 minutes to get the lights down and thankfully, I did not have to get on the roof to do...

My daddy can.....

I never hear the end of the things "my daddy can" do! The fire for example. Well of course you can build a fire.... you have gone to arctic survival school. AND you are a man... that is pretty much your only job in life.... to build a fire.... and bring me coffee, and the girl coffee and when you get home, the other girl coffee. Today we went to Target. We were supposed to meet up with Jennifer there, but after waiting for two hours, I left. The girls did pick out a few things with some of the gift card $ your mom gave them. Why we needed more cell phones, I will never know. Millie pretended to call me and told me that she was "cooking salad for dinner." Autumn jumped in on the game and informed me that she was going to make "chocolate soup for dinner." YUCK! After we left Target, I went and picked up my Indian food, beer and happy meals for the girls. Man am I tired of leftovers! I have enough Indian food to eat lunch and dinner tomorrow...

Another day of Callaway.

I think more than any place else, we have spent a ton of time at Callaway. I wrote on my facebook this morning that I would be slowly pulling down Christmas deocrations and that I was thinking about going to Callaway to walk around. My friend Kristen called me and asked if she could come to. I loaded up the people and off we went. All six of us. I used my brand new Garmin and it was quite simple. The church. Autumn square pants. Silly Millie. We have beautiful girls. Agreed? Abigail, Autumn and Millie. After visiting at the church, we headed back to the butterfly center. Checking out the buggies. This flower was so beautiful. My camera doesn't capture all the details on it. I don't know if it is the quality of my camera or perhaps the lighting, but at the end of each one of those "spokes" was a silvery dot. It was simply stunning. Autumn was having such a good time. But Miss Millie, was not. Autumn trying to cheer Mi...
