Candy Cane Magic.

Funny how something so simple can bring such joy to a child. I think this is by far the most magical Christmas for our family. Autumn and Emelia are both at such a perfect age. I feel terrible that you are missing out on this. I hope that you feel included by my posting about what is going on.

The first thing Autumn did when she woke up at 630 this morning (yay!), was run to the kitchen and flip the light on.

She couldn't believe that her candy cane seeds turned into candy canes. She was SO excited that she ran to Millie's room and woke Millie up. She begged Millie to come and see what Aurora had done.

I overheard Millie tell Autumn she was not ready to get up yet, so Autumn ran to the kitchen and grabbed one of Millie's candy canes and headed back to Millie's room.

Millie says, "did someone say candy?" That girl will get up for candy! ha ha ha

Thank you Aurora!

Millie is still eating the glitter sugar. I am going to have to get rid of that soon. That cannot be good for your insides. I don't even want to imagine how it comes out!!!!!!

So I finished my Christmas shopping today. I got Autumn's leappad all configured and changed up the old leappad for Millie. I need to buy some more rechargeable batteries and I am thinking about buying one more app for Autumn's leappad (that is anywhere from $5 to $10). I still need to wrap all the gifts and figure out when to do that, but I will manage. I cannot believe it is almost Christmas. Almost the New year! Almost Autumn's 5th birthday. That is CRAZY!

At school today was show and tell for the letter J. Autumn told me that she was a Jordan and she could be the show and tell for today. She ended up taking my old bug's bunny jack in the box and a candy cane. I told her that candy cane does not start with the letter J and she says,

No, but it looks like a letter J if you turn it this way. HOLY COW smarty pants! Yes it does! Thank you for looking at things differently Autumn bottom! I Love it!

Miss Millie's outfit. She tried to take the garage door opener to school. Thankfully, I put a stop to that! Mr Mason (a kid in her class) is out this week with likely the same stuff Millie had last week. He's been running a fever according to Miss Sandi.

I hope all the kids at school are healthy by Christmas.

We are heading out in a bit to my Sunday school class' Christmas party. I am not sure if I am supposed to bring the girls or not, but they are coming with. No one else in our class has kids our age. They are all much older (middle/high school age). Hopefully Autumn and Millie are not too distracting.

I love you and miss you much.
