Won't you dance?
Last night Aurora wrote the girls a letter and then sat atop our tree.
You can click on this picture in order to read what it says. If not, let me know and I will email you what the letter says.
The presents Aurora left.
When Autumn went to bed a little bit ago, I don't even think she remembered that we wouldn't see Aurora again this year.
I spent most the day cooking/baking and cleaning dishes. The girls did things like, coloring.
This was pre sugar.
Thank you Autumn.
Once Brett and Jennifer arrived, we ate dinner. We cleaned up, and then decorated cookies.
Alex taking cheese to a whole new level.
Violet May.
Sweet and shy Anna.
I went to take a picture of Millie and her cookies, but she ate them all.
After cookies, the kids sat down and sort of watched a movie. We did hot cocoa and used our chocolate dipping spoons. While sipping on the cocoa, grandma and grandpa arrived. We waited on them to open
The presents.
The girls all got Minnie mouse pjs. That was not planned by the way. I suppose if you are a girl and have the last name Jordan, you really must be in to the mouse.
The boys got spider man.
Millie is giving Minnie a der-ride.
Violet and Bo... whoa.... look at that mess!!! ha
Next up, a crazy game of ring around the rosies.
Duck, duck, goose.
Now lets try a futile exercise in futility by getting everyone in a picture!
Bowman was NOT interested!
We helped the Brett/Jennifer's get out to the car and then
Stopped to take a picture of just our people. It took like five tries to get this picture because Millie would NOT be still! That is why Autumn looks that way. It makes me laugh.
Grandma and Grandpa decided they wanted to see the girls open their gifts and YOU know your momma does not get up early!
Those gifts were purple cupcake pjs. Autumn walks over to your mom and says, "is there nothing else?" It made us all laugh.
The next gift was a HUGE hit!
Autumn helping Millie.
Minnie costume for Millie and Cinderella for Autumn. They LOVE it!
Grandpa helping the girls see them self in a mirror.
Sweet Millie.
The next thing I hear from Autumn is her asking her grandpa, "Won't you dance with me?" Your dad did a bow and Autumn did a curtsy and they danced. It was a very sweet moment. OK, it made me cry.
Millie, Grandpa Jordan and Autumn.
Your parents left. The girls are both in bed now. I'm waiting a bit longer just to be sure everyone is asleep before I put anything out.
I love you and I miss you so much. Why can't you be here, on this day?
Your current wife and favorite airman. xoxo
The count: 118 and 52 days of looking for you.
