Christmas snow?
I highly doubt that! Autumn is talking about snow a lot!
Keen on you?!?!
I think if we were in Alaska, this outfit would not only be alright, it would accepted. These girls crack me up!
We met up with your mom and dad at cracker barrel for breakfast this morning. Autumn pitched a fit for something from the store. Personally, I just did not feel like spending $6 a piece on the junk they are holding in their hands, so when I said no, the mother of all meltdowns ensued. I have always really loved Christmas, but there is something about the selfishness I am seeing that it is ruining it for me.
I have seriously considered not giving them any gifts this year. I haven't made up my mind, but I am thinking about scaling back. I could keep some stuff in the attic and give it at birthday time. We shall see how the behavior is over the next few days.
After cracker barrel, I continued on with my insanity and dropped by Barnes and Noble. I told the girls before we went in I was there to buy something for me. I was not buying any toys or animals, etc. We got out of there with two books (you know my position on books... you pretty much have to buy your kid books).
We came home and everyone napped. When we woke up...
It was time for tea.
I think she likes it!
Autumn wanted a picture of her baby.
Millie was like, I know she said her baby, but we all know that is MY baby.
She says, "I love you, jerk!"
Autumn did all the cooking!
Millie did all the eating!
After tea time, we went to Jennifer's house. The kids made Santa ornaments (well, half way made them). Another lady was there with her son and daughter and this kid was out of control. He was opening and closing the oven (it was on!), the fridge. Finally, he took Autumn's hand print that she made and just completely destroyed it. Autumn was too upset to make another one, so I just did two of Millie's. When it is time to "paint" them, Autumn can just paint the extra Millie one. I couldn't believe how out of control this kid was, but I did not say much. I don't know what their situation is.
We had a nice dinner and the girls and I just got home a little bit ago. I am ready, ready, ready for bed!
I love you and miss you much.

The count: 118 and 49 days of needing you home.
