A day of cleaning.

Last night when Autumn went to bed, she hardly had any voice. She was feeling a little warm too. At 4 am, we both woke up to the sounds of her croupy cough. Poor girl. We haven't dealt with croup since we left Alaska. I guess I had allowed myself to believe it was a thing of the past. BOO! By 7 or 8 am, she sounded much better. She had most of her voice back and the coughing had mostly stopped. I am expecting another night of coughing for her. I am putting the humidifier in her room tonight. Hopefully that will help the girl.

After waking up and cooking the girls bacon and pancakes, I got to cleaning. I cleaned my heart out today. I started with decluttering the laundry room, then the kitchen, then the dining room. That is as far as I got with decluttering. Before Christmas and while the girls are in school, I need to declutter their rooms and the play room. After all that, I cleaned the kitchen, except for the inside of the oven. I will get to that some other time, like when it is not 75 degrees outside.

After taking care of most of the indoor stuff, I wanted to clean up the back porch. I realized there was stuff on the porch that I wanted to go in the shed, so I organized, cleaned out the shed. Then I moved on to the girls outside toys. I threw away the busted up stuff and then was horrified when I discovered that their sandbox had definitely turned into a litter box. OH MY GOODNESS, it smelled terrible. What bothered me was that while I was hanging up Christmas lights yesterday, the girls were playing in the sandbox. You know that Millie sometimes eats that sand. I hope they do not get pin worms.

I dumped all the sand out into a black garbage bag, which I am pretty sure now weighs more than me and dragged that to the side of the shed. You are going to have to help me dispose of that when you get home. For now, I am leaving it there.

I flipped the sandbox over and sprayed it out with the hose. Then I cleaned off the pavement. There was some sort of weird film on it. I probably need some sort of gentle wash to put on the ground where the pool was. All that algae/mold or whatever it was from the pool.

Next up was the back porch. All cleaned. Then the Garage. All cleaned. Then my car. All cleaned.

I came in and finished up the rest of the inside stuff.

The girls and I had taco salad dinner and watch a Winnie the Pooh Movie.

I am getting ready to send them to bed. I hope we all sleep well tonight, including you, where ever on earth you are.

I love you.

Your current wife and favorite airman. xoxo

The count: 118 and 29 days of cleaning without you.
