Santa Day Massacre

Tonight was the homefront meeting and it was at our home.

I made these cute little Santa hats, but after a few minutes, the whipped cream sort of got saggy and drippy and half the tops fell off. They looked quite sad! I let the girls eat a bunch of them and then I chopped the tops of some new ones and proceeded to leave out the whipped cream. I'm not sure how you could make this work better, maybe if you lived in Alaska and you hosted a party outside during the winter???

At the end of the day, 2 pounds of strawberries are gone!

We also had Polar Express Cocoa with our chocolate dipping spoons and marshmallows.

The cocoa was very rich. I enjoyed it. There was a lot left over. I have it in the fridge now and I am thinking I should be able to reheat it rather easily.

We had ham, sweet potato casserole, bread and a few other things. There was just three of us tonight, but Tracie brought Forrest and the girls had a lot of fun with him!

We have no plans the rest of the week. I am really hoping that I can get out and use my Garmin tomorrow. I called your mom today, I WAS going to ask her to come over and sit with Autumn, while Millie napped so I could go for a run, but she said her stomach was bothering her, so I didn't.

It seems like we are supposed to have rain again tomorrow, so maybe we will just take the tree down. I'm not sure.

Silly Miss Autumn. Why does she have my shoes on and on the wrong feet?

Millie said to me, "I am the cookie doctor." It cracked me up!

Autumn was singing, "I like big butts and my big, big eyes." Oh boy.

That is our story mr morning glory.

I miss you. I love you. I am so tired.

Your current wife and favorite airman. xoxo

The count: 118 and 55 days of killing Santa without you.
