Anything you can do
I can mess up better.
The dishwasher. It has been making a weird noise. I cannot figure out what it is. I did notice that there was standing water in the bottom of the dishwasher. SO! I did what any reasonable woman without her husband would do and I googled it.
Googling led me to believe that I needed to check the line and see if there was a clog. I got the end connected to the disposal pretty easy and dumped what water in it out. I then went for the line under the dishwasher. I was not sure how to un-plug the dishwasher like google told me to do..... I get the line out from under the dishwasher when all of that water comes gushing out. There was really not a way to collect it. There was A LOT of water. It went everywhere! I took the line out and put it up to the kitchen faucet. The water wasn't going through the tube.
I took it outside and hooked it up to the water hose. The water finally shot out the other end. I didn't see anything that might have been blocking it, but the water was successfully running through it.
I pulled the dishwasher out and oh my gosh, it was disgusting under there!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO I cleaned it out, put it all back together. I also found the circuit that said "dishwasher" and flipped it. I was afraid of being electrocuted.
I called your mom and asked her if Jim could stop by here on his way home.
Your dad did not do anything that I hadn't already. He seemed surprised that I was able to get the dishwasher apart, back together again, etc.
It is running again now. I am hoping at the end of the cycle, there is not water left standing in the bottom. I think there is some sort of debris in the line causing the strange noises. I am hopeful it will work its way out.
On to last night.
We went to Fantasy in Lights. Can I just say it was a huge mistake to go on a Sunday. We should have gone on a weekday. It was SO crowded. Thursday is still considered a "value" day, so half off to military. Next year, we shall go on a Thursday!
Autumn was loving life because I let her stand on the console and put her head out the moon roof.
Probably my favorite part. It is like a story board. I guess you know all this, so I'll just post pictures and shut up.
Millie sat in the front passenger seat. On occasion, she would put her head out the window.
They really had a nice time.
It was in this section that Millie informed me she needed to go to the bathroom. Before we got out of this section, she relieved herself all over the passenger seat. We had to pull over and get her changed.
BOTH the girls hollered out, "MOOOOOSE!"
Pretty.
It was a magical evening.
At the end of the lights, we went back in and parked. The triplets/Violet wanted to get a picture with Santa. We watched since we already had our Santa picture. Violet screamed. She is in the stranger danger part of life. When they were done, Millie ran up to Violet and proclaimed, "I did not cry for Santa." It gave us all a really good chuckle!
My camera is not half bad in the dark.
We went all around looking for Frosty, but where unsuccessful in locating him.
A house a few doors down from us.
Our house. Needs some work, but for the most part, looks good! I don't want it to look like Christmas threw up on us.
We got home so late! The girls did not make it to their beds until 10 pm. It is the reason I did not update yesterday.
My random it doesn't make any sense photo. I think I did a pretty good job doing my hair myself. I cannot wait until Autumn or Emelia can help me fix my hair!
This is from lunch the other day with Brandon, Julie, Winston, Holly, your mom/dad. Autumn really liked Holly (she is 11 months old). She told Brandon that Holly was going to come and live with us.
Do you realize how strange it is to be wearing shorts in December?
Why does Millie have socks on? Why are her shoes on the wrong feet?
I am glad I was able to talk to you today. I have been really missing you. I wish that I could fix all these things that keep coming up around the house. I am doing my best. I hope you know that.
I suppose this next topic is going to be pretty random too.
Autumn grabbed her Riley and Me book and pointed at this picture. She told me, "I want to go back there." I think I should carry this picture around and show it to the people who give us crazy looks about not wearing coats. Funny thing is, Autumn was cold here. It was taken in January of 2010. Look at her fingers! I was 6 months pregnant with Millie. Kind of crazy!
I love you and I miss you.
Your current wife and favorite airman. xoxo
The count: 118 and 38 days of going crazy without you.
