Two sickies.

The girls have croup. We have one humidifier.

They are both taking a nap in Autumn's room right now. I am undecided whether or not they will sleep together tonight. Millie is a bad girl.

Photobucket
Case in point... she tried to edit the family rules.

She also touched Aurora, again! Forcing me to perform "elf surgery" on her. I need to remember to keep Aurora up high so that Millie cannot reach her.

Remember I said yesterday that I did a ton of cleaning? Well I am going to show you a few photos of my work, but first I'd like to share this:

Photobucket
Not sure who thought it was a good idea to put me in charge of the flowers. I have a hard time keeping up with them because of the 8 billion cats we have running around the backyard. Anytime I go out there, I spend several days in complete misery because I am allergic to them and they are catting the place up. It makes me upset that I cannot even enjoy this portion of MY home because of the cat problem.

Photobucket
Post cleaning. I left the cushion and a blanket out for Mr Prince.

Photobucket
Since you were asking, here he is. I asked him if he missed you and he said, "mrow."

Photobucket
The sandbox.

Photobucket
The concrete where the pool goes. I think it looks better since spraying it off with water, but I do think it needs some sort of gentle detergent or mild soap on there that gets scrubbed and washed off.

Photobucket
The garage. Those black garbage bags are full of junk that came from the garage. I need to figure out if I can just chuck them out with the garbage or send them out with yard day stuff. They are not yard clippings, so I am not sure.

I got to talking with Sylvester yesterday and he told me that on top of the cat problem we have been experiencing, there is also a beaver.

Photobucket
Do you see what the beaver has done?

Photobucket
Sylvester told me that he has unblocked the dam several times, but by the next day, it is already back in place.

Photobucket
This is the back of our property. I am thinking about starting on this edge, near Sylvester's house and working my way across. Just do a little bit at a time. Do you think there will be bees/hornets/wasps or snakes out there this time of year? It is the only reason I haven't done anything about it so far. I really don't care to bump into anything else, but I really do not like how this looks. It also attracts the aforementioned critters.

Here is something I worked on inside the house.

Photobucket
I think we have a gorgeous dining room. I cannot wait to serve Christmas dinner on it. I haven't decided what I am going to make yet, but I am now leaning towards a lasagna. Jennifer mentioned to me that she would like to do Christmas Eve here and lunch Christmas day at her house. If I prepared the lasagna the day before, that would work out OK for me. I guess I could make Christmas dinner Christmas eve and leave ham and turkey in the running. I just cannot decided.

The girls were very excited and Autumn very inquisitive about the Walden pictures. She wanted to know how you guys got to the ship. Did you actually fly the helicopter, etc. Millie said you were a pirate.

Photobucket
Walden's got your six.

I think these pictures are so very neat and I'm glad we will have them to reflect back upon. I think it is also very cool that you got to meet up with Devonne's (my sister) husband, Steven while you were aboard the USS Stennis. I had an opportunity to go aboard an aircraft carrier when I was in the Air Force, but my supervisor took it from me. Oh well.

The girls have been driving me bonkers today. They are crabby, which makes me feel crabby. They did not do well about falling asleep together. I sort of expected that, but I wish they would just nap. They both could really use it.

Julie will be getting in to your mom's sometime tonight and she wants us to stop by. I will probably take the girls around looking at Christmas lights and then stop by your mom's for just a few minutes and welcome them to town.

Sorry you were grouchy at me this morning. I really do not understand what was so bad about me paying for the coffee for the lady behind me. I thought it was just a nice thing to do.

Your current wife and not so favorite airman.

The count: 118 and 30 days of sicklings without you.
