Sick Santa visit.
DUMB, DUMB, DUMB.....
Are you thinking of that South Park episode yet?
I needed to go to the grocery store. We have not been eating well. Appetite is sketchy, I guess because everyone is sick. None of us had breakfast, so at 11 am, when I finally got people out the door, I decided we should go to the food court first and get some banoodles.
At this point, Autumn's fever was 101.0 and Millie was sitting at 100.1.
Getting out of the house was good for us.
Autumn insisted on bringing her suitcase.... I think she is prepping for something.... Like maybe going to live with Santa??
Playing.
I don't know why Millie's face looks like that. Autumn decided she wanted rice when we got up there and Millie said she wanted banoodles. I ate the orange chicken and the girls shared rice and banoodles. They both got a fortune cookie.
Autumn's said: Hard work is always appreciated.
Millie's said: If the brain were so simple we could understand it, we would be so simple we couldn't.
That really cracked me up. Of course that was Millie's fortune!!!
After eating, Autumn asked if we could go and see Santa (he was at the PX last week when we went by there). We did and it was a wonderful little visit for the girls. I will post the pictures in a minute.
On the way out, we had to check out the helicopter. Millie says, "CHEESE COPTER".
Autumn is such a sweet sick-o.
Random, it doesn't make any sense picture......
We left the PX and headed over to the commissary. We spent approximately 2 hours in there. I now have a fully stocked fridge, freezer and pantry. We should not need to go back for awhile.
Once we got home, I checked the girls temperatures again and they were still BOTH running a fever.
Autumn fell asleep after giving her a dose of medicine. Poor girl. Millie fell asleep too. I wanted to, but I was busybreaking fixing the computer. I uninstalled the printer and then reinstalled it. SUCCESS!! Now I can scan again. So that took me like 3 hours.
I need to know how to reinstall windows 7. Can you help me with that?
Aurora's hanging spot today.
More proof of Millie's badness level. What am I supposed to do with that girl?
I sent your sister a message saying that I was going to have to cancel for tomorrows pictures. The girls just should not be out of the house and that trip to the commissary was too much. On top of that, it is supposed to rain tomorrow. Julie acted like she just did not care. Honestly, I don't think it is an act at all. Jennifer texted me that Julie just messaged her that she still wanted to do the family pictures even though Autumn and Emelia would not be there. Should I be surprised? NO! I remember her first wedding where they said lets do a family picture and then I was told to sit back down, I was not family.
The kids were all supposed to wear jeans and then a white or black t-shirt. You know how Millie will not wear pants?
This is what I was going to put her in for the pictures. I think it goes with jeans/white or black t-shirts.
I guess Jennifer told Julie that she did not want to do it without us. Nice to have someone in my corner sometimes. We are tentatively going to reschedule for Saturday. I guess Julie is going to stay a little longer. She probably has more friends to go and see.
So, off my Julie is a jerk soap box.....
I made the homemade chicken soup tonight. It is still simmering right now. I hope it taste great. It has tumeric in it and that makes me all sorts of excited!!
Now, do you remember this?
One of my favorite, favorite Christmas pictures.
I showed Millie this picture and she said, "Autumn is wearing my dress."
I said, "No, that was Autumn's dress and now it is yours."
Millie, "Oh! Millie is crying with Santa."
I just love, love, love talking to Millie. I know I told you this already, but I want to share here so that I do not forget.
Millie and I were talking about snow yesterday when Millie said, "Mommy, I miss snow."
I asked Millie if she remembered snow and she said yes. I think asked her if she remembered moose and she said, "no." It makes me wonder if she really does remember the snow.
Back to today's Santa visit.
After taking their picture, Santa spent a good five minutes with Autumn and Emelia talking. I could not really hear what they were saying. This is Autumn's version.
"Santa said he likes cookies and milk. Santa said we should leave carrots for the reindeer."
Uhm thanks for that Santa.
"Santa is going to get me a teddy bear."
Millie chimes in, "Millie a teddy bear too."
"Santa said I have to do what you say or I will be on the naughty list."
Thank you Santa!
Needless to say, I was very pleased with how the photo came out. I love that Millie is not crying this year, that Autumn is not crying this year... I mean you do remember last year, yes?
I loved that even though there was a line to see Santa, Santa spent the time talking to the girls for so long. He was very thorough and gave each of our daughters one on one attention.
Now, if we could just get them healthy. We are working on it.
I love you and miss you very much.

The count: 118 and 32 days without you.
