Precious Moments
Separately, I took the girls to our room and they wrapped a gift for the other. They were walking around all day with their presents and I told them that if they did a good job today, they could open them tonight.
I overheard Autumn tell Millie: I like your present the best because you made it for me.
The sunrise was pretty awesome this morning.
This picture does not even do it justice, but you get the idea.
I was with the girls for Sunday school this morning. During Sunday school, a girl chucked a wooden apple at Autumn's face and gave her a fat lip. She bled. Suddenly, I was very happy I was the one in there with her.
When it was time for service, I sat with your mom and dad. Your dad's stomach was growling so loudly, everyone around us was snickering. I pulled out a candy bar from my purse (that the girls picked up and slipped in my cart the last time I was at the grocery store), but he turned it down. I wish he would have taken it because I was having such a hard time staying focused and trying so hard not to laugh.
After church, I took the girls to lunch. We came home and all of us took a nap. After nap time, the girls took a bath. I did some house work and when they go to bed, I'll make the Christmas cookies. I want them to be nice and cool for tomorrows festivities.
Please, please, pretty please!
Autumn was so excited about this. It gives me hope that Christmas morning is going to blow her mind! Great job picking this gift out for Autumn Millie!
Millie's turn.
Can you tell she is excited. She needed a little help opening it.
Daisy!
After opening gifts, we made some hot cocoa to go, climbed in the car and drove the hood looking at Christmas lights. The girls had fun and took turns standing in the moon roof. Tomorrow will be a busy day, cooking and prepping for Christmas Eve. Aurora will bring the girls their Christmas pj's and a letter telling them good bye. Can you believe it is almost Christmas eve. I will probably have to drug myself to sleep!!! I love you Sean Jordan. I wish you were here.
