Cherish has got to run.
2nd time out with this bad boy, but this time, it was for a run.
Getting location is MUCH faster than with that huge thing I use to wear.
The girls and I did 2 miles today. I wanted to do 3, but I was really spent after 2. The cool air was doing my lungs in. The snot was everywhere.... it was GROSS! I almost ralphed all that Indian food up. UGH! Tomorrow I will go again. Maybe I will walk the first mile and then run. It is supposed to rain later this week. Like Tue/Wed and Thurs so I figure I better get a run in while it is sunny.
When we got back from running, I decided what the hell? I'll take the Christmas lights down too.
Do you see where I messed up the ladder. I need to purchase a new one. This one is pretty awful anyway. If you have a suggestion, want or need, please let me know. I won't make the purchase right away as it is not a priority.
It took me about 15 minutes to get the lights down and thankfully, I did not have to get on the roof to do it. I just need to figure out the best way to store the lights now. At the moment, they are wrapped individually and setting in the boat.
While taking the lights down, I got a text from my Sunday school teacher about meeting at IHOP for a bit. I decided we would go. It is nice to have some conversation and laughs.
On the way home, it was dark and Autumn commented about how she was sad that we didn't have our lights out anymore. I did feel kind of bad about it then. Maybe I should have left them up a little longer.
Tomorrow we have been invited to a bonfire out at Tracie's house. I'm feeling a little undecided on whether or not to go. It has been rainy over the last week and the fields will be muddy. You know how the girls are with mud and quite frankly, I don't even have decent shoes to wear in the mud. I just don't know! I kind of want to go for the social aspect, but I don't think I feel like dealing with Millie/fire and mud!!!
There you have it. Our day in a nutshell. Wondering what happened to you.
Your current wife and favorite airman. xoxo
The count: 118 and 58 days of goofy girls! PS- it was approximately 45 degrees at the time of this picture and our neighbor thought I was nuts for running like that. Seriously, it wasn't cold at all although it did seem to bother my lungs a tad, but my lungs have always been on the sensitive side.
