Exciting news.

I am happy to report that I've purchased plane tickets to go home and see my family. It has been over a year since I was last home. I will finally get to meet my niece Taylor and they will get to meet Emelia. I will be heading out the end of January and staying three weeks. We will do Autumn's birthday party and invite Grandma and Grandpa Jordan from Georgia to come over and visit. Not sure yet, but I may go and spend a few days with the Jordan side too! We shall see. Will January ever get here?!?!? The Jordan's.

Christmas.

Merry Christmas. Please forgive the lack of "saying" anything and enjoy our photos. The progression of a happy to unhappy Emelia. One. Two. Three. Four. I'm sorry, but it really made me laugh. Getting ready to head out for Christmas Eve service. While waiting for Autumn to wake up this morning, Emelia decided it was time to start crawling. She can only go backwards and it is a fun sight to see her move about the room, pointing her rear the direction she needs to go. Bring on the Christmas morning joys. I scare me. I want some chocolate too Grandma Coleman. Sean's big gift from me. A bottle of Dom Perginon that I think we may enjoy on New Year's Eve. My big gift from Sean.... hey, what is he trying to tell me? Seriously, I really wanted that. Autumn's Mobigo- V Tech learning game. An Emelia toy from Grandma and Grandpa Jordan. Big hit! Autumn's camera from Sean and I. Autumn's puppy from Grandma and Grandpa Jordan. She really loves it and has been walki

A Lunar Eclipse.

Even though it snowed quite a bit yesterday, the clouds cleared up in time for us to see most of the lunar eclipse. It was pretty cool. The other GREAT thing about this is that it is the winter solstice. That means we will start adding daylight to our hours of darkness. This pleases me to no end. So I downloaded some more photos and here is a progression of the lunar eclipse. It is faint, but if you can see the blue line, that is the outer edges of the moon. I think it is pretty cool. Shortly after this photo, the clouds really rolled in. My friend Amy (also in Alaska) got this beautiful shot. It has been somewhat a strange week. I came down with some sort of stomach bug and was puking my brains out. I just started eating food again. Sean and I can finally start discussing what we are having for Christmas eve and Christmas dinner. To add to the busy Christmas Season, Autumn has been telling me for a few days now that her ear is disgusting. She has been grabbing at it and pulling on it,

The week before Christmas.

I am such a slacker. I haven't been doing a very good job of keeping up with my blog. I apologize. I have been reminiscing. Looking over my blog from this same time last year, I didn't realize how sad and lonely Autumn and I were for Sean. I am so grateful to have him here with us this year. We really have been just soaking him up. We recently celebrated Christmas at Sean's work with a party for the children. Emelia got all dolled up. Autumn hung out with her friend, Lila (she pronounces it La La). Santa made an appearance and to my surprise, Autumn sat with him. Santa asked Autumn what she wanted for Christmas and after much thought, she told him, A LOLLIPOP!!! I told her no more lollipop's, so she figured she would pull a fast one on the big guy. Thanks Santa! Emelia's turn. Everything was going great until she turned and Really got a look at him. She tried to pull his beard off, then began to scream bloody murder. I'm not going to lie, it really made me laugh
