Spring Break moves to Savannah.

On Wednesday of Spring Break, we pack up from my mom's and drive to meet Sean in Savannah. The girls and I had a few stops to make first though. Candy Kitchen. Pretty please. Lunch to go. After eating lunch, we headed out to the campground. It was so beautiful out at Skidaway State park. Millie wanted to be a helper. Isn't she sweet? On the other hand, Autumn and I: Watched (and played). The bearded ladies. Sean is practicing for retirement. Doesn't everyone bring this much stuff camping? The campground playground. There is a story here. After we got our camp stuff together, we made a trip to Walmart for a pot (you know, like what you cook in...). When we arrived back to our campsite, Autumn said that she wanted to go to the playground. Millie was playing on my tablet. I asked Millie several times if she wanted to go to the park, but she never answered me. Autumn, Sean and I all exited the car at the same time. I took Autumn t

I think every time I've visited home, I take the girls (kids) to Wannamaker park. It is a cool park and I wish that it had been around when I was a kid! We didn't hit the splash pad even though it would have been warm enough to. I was just feeling too lazy I guess. So I did what any other mom would do and dropped her. Told her to give me ten. Can you tell she wasn't sure if I was serious??? We had lots of fun at the park and then headed back to my mom's to bathe and ge

Great day to travel to Mississippi? That is what Sean is doing. I'm going to recap our Spring Break over the next week while he is away. The girls and I left on a Saturday to my mom's house. It isn't a bad drive. Just over 6 hours with multiple stops. Lots of pecan trees to see. Cool, old barns. We got to my mom's house around 1030 pm. I unloaded the car and we all went to bed. The next day, we went to the playground at my mom's apartment complex. I just have to say that Millie is so scary on the playground. I find myself constantly looking away so that I don't helicopter her too much. On the other hand, Autumn is probably not much better, but she will at least let me know if someone is going to do something crazy. I guess to better define that, she will know if something IS crazy. It was windy that day. Not cold necessarily, but windy. Pollen was blowing in my face, the girls faces. It was kind of rough. Flower weeds... I al
