Happy Easter.

Autumn woke up to a trail of jelly beans leading to her Easter Basket. Once she found it, her first words were, "It's so cool. It's Christmas time." She loved all the things in her basket (like- the bunny from Grandma and Grandpa Jordan, her "SO CUTE" Easter dress as she called it, her lollipop, her ladybug pen). After checking out everything in her basket, she started looking for eggs. So did Emelia. Here are some pictures of our day. Emelia couldn't be bothered to stop eating for a picture. She also didn't care if the wrapper was off of her candy or not. Autumn looking silly. Emelia looking slobby. Autumn really likes her new bunny. And blowing bubbles. Emelia only cared about the eggs. Watch out!!!!!! An Autumn monster is going to steal that egg from you! Finding a new one! Seeing as how it was Easter and everything, there were at least two things going on in this household. 1. Prayer. Dear Lord in Heaven, thank you for the Easter bunny. That is a

Sean is home and Easter is upon us.

The girls and I picked Sean up from the airport yesterday afternoon. Autumn was so happy to have her daddy back at home. Emelia had fallen asleep on the ride over to the airport, when she woke up, Sean was in the Jeep. I think it startled her, but after a few minutes, she warmed right up to him. I took some pictures of Emelia (on Thursday) and forgot to share them! Emelia with Sean's Garfield. Having a conversation with Elmo. I think he needs an Easter hat. Emelia clapping. After we picked Sean up from the airport, I spotted: A black bear in the woods across the street from our house. She had at least two cubs. It was really hard to resist the temptation to get out and get a photograph, but I knew if we spooked the baby bears the momma might get really angry, SO I stayed in the Jeep and now can only share this sorry picture with you! This morning we dressed the girls up and took them over to Easter Egg hunt on base. Here is our adventure: Autumn Harvest. Emelia James. Waiting for t

On Thursday's Angie will be bringing Reagan and Riley to our house to play. If you recall, I was feeling a little anxious about it, but after today I know it is totally doable and even enjoyable. Reagan only cried one time and that was because Emelia accidentally beamed her in the head with the basket to the shopping cart. Poor girl. Reagan let me console her and after just a few seconds, she moved on. While Emelia and Reagan played together, Autumn and Riley worked on big vs small and the letter A. Let me show you. Riley Riley's A. She was pretty good at it. She just couldn't remember it was the letter A. Autumn. Autumn's A. Autumn also did pretty good. We practiced our flash cards too. Both girls did really well on that. Some of the cards Autumn knew and taught Riley, some of the cards Riley knew and taught Autumn. Both girls got stumped on a picture of a goose and guessed duck. I told them it wasn't a duck and Riley said, "If it isn't a duck, WHAT IS IT?

I'm having a sad, sad day.

I'm in a funk today. I feel frustrated about somethings that I don't even feel like I can vent about. I ended up leaving the gym in tears this morning. I am going to have to start doing something different about the gym time. We need to come up with a way for me to transport both the girls and still allow me to run. I cannot wear one of them and run at the same time. It is getting nice enough outside that we need to get this show on the road. I'd like to be able to run to the BK park, let the girls play and then run home. I'm getting tired of the indoor workout. Anyway, I promise to try and get out of this funk. I think the girls and I are going to go to the park after nap time. Hopefully some sunshine will do the trick. Angie took some pictures of the girls from Tuesday. I wanted to share them with you. Emelia and Reagan side by side just blows my mind. Hard to believe Reagan is just 4 weeks younger than Emelia, but when you have a tiny mom, you have a petite little gi
