You're pushing my buttons!

Today we decided to stay local. We went to downtown Anchorage and ate at this place called the Snow Goose. It was more of a lame duck. I would like to say that the location is nice (has good views of Mt Susitna)and is convenient to downtown, but the food was just OK. This restaurant is also a brewery and perhaps if you go for just a beer, you may have a more enjoyable experience, but as far as the food goes, I'd pass! After lunch, we stopped by the information place. It's such a neat place. They have a grass roof and the flowers are just gorgeous. Then we headed over to Towne Square to check out the fountain. My look a likes. Autumn standing atop the fountain all by herself. Psych! Autumn crawled. Screamed. Stared. Then started pushing her button! I was just glad she wasn't pushing the two north of that location (which she was doing on the airplane ride home from South Carolina to Anchorage)!! On our way back to the car I bumped into this creep. I have no idea what t

Exit, Glacier that is.

We had such wonderful weather yesterday. We decided to head down to Exit Glacier (near Seward). It was a nice drive down, we had to turn the A/C on a couple of times! Once we arrived at the park, we ate lunch in the car. We realized afterwords, that there were picnic tables, but that is good information for next time. There were no entrance fees and because Sean and I had been to this park before, we knew what sort of shoes to wear. They actually have rebuilt the trails a little bit and there was not nearly as much water on them as the last time we went, but in order to get to the toe of the glacier, we had to make at least three water crossings. It was funny, you could pick through the Alaskans and the non-Alaskans based just on clothes people were wearing. Anyway, here goes our adventure. At the entrance to the park. The first trail that we walked through took you to the toe of the glacier. This area is where you might get a little wet. I'm not sure what they were poin

Curly vs. Straight

Autumn is starting to get some hair and it's about time!!! I think it is going to be curly, but Sean swears up and down it will be straight. Either way it doesn't matter to me so long as she FINALLY gets some HAIR!!! By the way, she is working on teeth #3 and 4 (her top front teeth). Autumn's BFF left for Arkansas today. I hope Cindy, Travis and Dylan have a safe flight. Crossing my fingers for Dylan sleeping most of the way. Take care you guys and see you in a few weeks!

Our big fat trip to South Carolina!

Lots of photos, little talking. Are you happy Cindy?? At the zoo. Autumn thought this guy was real. Funny face. I liked this shot. I'm not sure who was in a better mood, Kaitlyn or the Gorilla. Autumn and the giant turtle. Kaitlyn sporting the same dress as Autumn at the giant turtle. Me and Autumn- Fake Giant Turtle. Cole and Kaitlyn at fake giant turtle. My niece Jordan (4 months old) at the fake giant turtle. Pointing out the lizard. Kaitlyn and the Jelly fish. Autumn and Miss Sarah Joy at the fish exhibit. Autumn really took a liking to Sarah Joy which is odd, most kids do not like her, then again, Autumn isn't most kids. Jordan checking out the fish. Me, Autumn, Cole, Renee and Kaitlyn. Feeding the goats. Autumn thought this was much safer than feeding the reindeer. Kaitlyn feeding the goat. Autumn hanging in Cole's pool. Surfer Autumn. With the heat index, 110 (a bunch of days in a row!!). Thank goodness for water! Autumn and Grandpa Jordan at the hotel (they drov
