Swimming

Image
We have been at the pool the whole day! Getting ready for dinner in a bit. There was a waterslide here that Autumn loved. It dumped you into the deep end and Autumn handled it well. The plan tomorrow is to swim in the morning and head out at lunch time for home. I love you. Your current wife and favorite airman. 100 days without you.

Are we at Disney Junior?

Autumn hasn't worked it out yet. If anyone mentions Disney, she simply says, "it cant be Disney Junior! My dad isn't back yet." We checked out of our hotel this morning and headed to downtown not Disney. Autumn picked the restaurant T Rex. It was all fun and games until the meteor showers and the dinosaurs came to life. Then, well then it was just terrifying! So now I am at the condo, watching FIVE children. Am I insane? It is a nice condo. Hopefully everyone is going to bed soon. We spent most the day at the pool. I am tired. I love you. Your current wife and airman. xoxo The count: 99 days. Can you believe that?

It is not easy

To update my blog from my nook, so bear with me. I want to try a few pictures. Hi daddy! Exploring the hotel grounds. Sleeping under the stars. Cheese float. I will have to fix this photo later. Maybe you can fix it! Ok that is it for now. I will post more later. I love you. Cherish Hope.

Orlando!

Remember when we were talking on the phone and I *almost* took the turnpike? I was supposed to! Ah! I added an hour to my trip! Lame! Since arriving, we had lunch/dinner. I had a glass of wine, the girls benadryl. We are having so much fun! I love you and miss you. Your current wife and favorite airman. The count: 98 days of needing you.

Getting ready.

Today I have been cleaning the car out, packing suitcases. Tonight I will go to Operation Home Front (support group for military spouses). I figure I better get on here now and write to you. My plan is to get on the road around 5 am tomorrow. I just want to pick the girls up and put them in the car with a movie. Maybe they will go right back to sleep. A girl can dream right? You know where we are staying, I sent you the confirmation email. I will have my phone, but not sure what access to internet I'll have while down there. I will send you messages when we leave and arrive places though. I'll have my phone too. A throw back picture. Cheese wand. Cheese nose. This little lady just cracks me up! Why does Millie put her finger to her nose when she is "Shhhhhh" ing people?? I love you and I miss you so much. Can you believe we are closing in on October? I'm so excited about that it is ridiculous! Your current wife and favorite airman

Halloween Threw Up

In the kitchen. Shockingly, I made it out of the attic without 1. Injury 2. Losing anything (OK, so I dropped an empty box going back in). Autumn told me I was doing such a good job without my daddy around (that would be you by the way). I explained to Autumn that you are NOT my daddy. Today was Johnny Appleseed day. Autumn told me Johnny wore rags for clothes and no shoes. Well, I'm not putting my child in rags (and yes, Autumn suggested we tape some from the kitchen to her clothes) and she was definitely not going without shoes on. SO this was the best we could come up with. I had to secretly chuckle to myself because minus the mix matched socks with sandals, this looks like a normal Autumn outfit! Miss Millie all ready for school. She said, "Cheese purse." Millie also talked to me about Mrs Sandi today. She said, "Sandi, favorite." I asked her why? She replied, "Gives Millie cookies." She is so funny! After dropping th

She's got style

She's got grace. It reminds me of this one time in boot camp... I made banana bread this morning, but I ran into a small problem. These two pans are stuck together, forever, I'm pretty sure! I used our other loaf pan and made some muffins too. I thought this bread was really tasty. It was from skinny taste. So far, I haven't had a thing from that site I didn't like. For dinner we had Tex Mex Shredded Chicken in the crock pot. The cast of spice characters. Onion and garlic. Chicken breast patted dry and then sprinkled with salt and pepper. Next up, coarsely chop a jalapeno, and squeeze one lime over the top of the chicken. Word to the wise, wear protective eye wear. Oh my gosh, a piece of jalapeno went flying and some juice squirted me in the eye. It hurt SO bad!!! Next, goes in some cilantro and the onion garlic mixture. Put the lid on and forget about it! Several hours later I came back and shredded the chicken. After tasting it,

Fall has arrived.

At least for the moment. When I dropped Autumn off to school, it was 50 degrees. The girls BOTH said they were cold. I'll admit it, I even wore my little fleece jacket. This picture was from yesterday, but somehow was still on my phone. These are the new houses down the road from us. I think there are 5 up already. Our neighborhood is going to look different to you! After taking Autumn to school, Millie and I came home and threw open all the windows. Man, it is so nice outside. 72 degrees in the house with no A/C running! I'm hoping we don't have to turn it on for awhile. I'm sure your wallet could use a little break. N/Kip sent me a text message and said that she left in such a hurry this morning, she didn't have a chance to let her dogs out, would we do it? I told her no problem, the girls love to visit her dogs. Millie and I went over there and took Gizmo and Lilly for a walk around the yard. Then we went back to school to grab Autumn.
