A lovely gift from my dear friend Cindy. Autumn modeling Emelia's new dress from Cindy. Cannot wait to see Emelia in it! Getting my hair brushed by Autumn. Emelia getting her "hair" brushed by Autumn. Let the picture cuteness begin: In this house, you have to expect the unexpected. The reason this picture is blurry- we were scrambling to grab the broom Autumn was swinging right at Emelia's head. No one was injured. Oh the drama! Finally got some work done in Emelia's room (got her name hung up). Sean painted the stems of the flowers. Emelia sleeping. The dresser. The changing table. While out running errands today, we had a diaper emergency. It was raining outside, so Sean came up with this genius idea: Changing Emelia's diaper right in the front seat. Things worked out well. Autumn slept. I'd like to put a big congratulations out there to my dear friend Angie. She had Reagan Friday morning. I'm looking forward to seeing them at church tonight.

Big and Chunky

Speaking of big and chunky: If I'm not more careful, I'll be having trouble with my clothes like one little person I know. Emelia is outgrowing her clothes faster than I can replace them. That is a 3 month onesie. It is a Gerber and I'm guessing they run smaller than the Carter's stuff, but I have more clothes in Emelia's dresser that do not fit than clothes that do! Autumn wanted to make sure her sister was accessorizing. While taking these pictures, Autumn did something and all of a sudden Emelia: Cracked a for real smile (not related to passing gas!!). I have no idea what we are going to do today, but I have some Jillian Michael's to contend with and a four mile run later today. The Jordan's.

Hodgepodge!

We finally got an estimate on the Jeep and I was pretty close with my guesstimate. $2700 worth of damage. Our out of pocket expense is going to be about $1000, but thankfully, we will get all the damage fixed and we will be getting a hard top. It seems silly to put another soft top on the Jeep and invite yet another bear or more likely a criminal to tear up the Jeep again. I'm taking my girls to see Toy Story 3 today. Autumn loves the movies and Emelia is so easy going, it should be a good time. Sean has a jump today, so we will be keeping busy with that. I did my run yesterday. It was day 3 for me (the third time running since having Emelia) and I put in four miles. I walked a little less than a mile of it, again I did better than I thought I would. I figured I'd walk about 2 miles of it. My goal is 13 miles by mid August. I'd like to run a half marathon come August. Remember that lame Mother's Day gift Sean gave me, well it has been helping me keep track o

Happy Summer

Today marks the longest day of the year. We have over 19 hours of daylight, but after today, we begin losing daylight. That means we are catapulting towards winter (which I cannot even think about right now), in the meantime, we are going to soak up the sun! Before I get to today's activities, let me share with you how I found my family after diligently updating my blog for you. Sean and Emelia passed out on the couch. Autumn passed out on her chair. I took the girls to the zoo today. On our way there, we saw: A baby moose. Momma and baby. At the zoo I had Autumn in the jogger and Emelia in my Moby. FAIL! Autumn climbed in and out of that stroller so many times, she was making me nuts! By some miracle, the petting zoo was open today. Autumn and Riley running towards a bunny. Having a little giggle over something. Trying to reach the bunny. Riley on her tip toes. I love this picture! Autumn kept covering her mouth to laugh. That girl cracks me up! Right here Autumn saw a &qu
