We're going on a treasure hunt

Image
All the while we were out today at Chewacla State park, Millie sang over and over that we were going on a treasure hunt. We've been to this park before, but this was the first time going with Sean. I think we all had a much better time (not to say we didn't have a good time the other times, but we were able to do more with Sean there) and we definitely got some good exploring in. The "ATS" or Autumn Transport System. It is hard not to laugh about this because I've taken Autumn to this park at least 3 times and she has made the walk to the falls all by herself, but with Sean there, she demanded her "deride". I'm wondering, what is going to happen when she is 8 or 10 or 16 years old? Speaking of being a teenager, Autumn recently informed us that: Autumn: I don't want to grow up to be a teenager because I don't want to wear all black. Teenagers wear all black you know. Wait, what? HA HA HA I have no idea at all where on earth th

Because I LOVE my children.

No really, I do. Some days I find myself repeating that over and over while other days, they do little things that make my heart melt into a million pieces. Some time in the past two weeks, I took Autumn and Millie to Chickfila. It is the ONLY fast food restaurant that doesn't make me want to throw up everywhere. While I am there, I generally only eat the salad. Before this trip, I had run ten miles. I was just down right hungry and didn't feel like being on my feet anymore, so I did what any good mom would do and surprised the girls with an impromptu trip to the chikila (as they say it). On the way there, Autumn told me what she wanted to eat (salad and chocolate milk) and then asked if she could have ice cream. I told her I would make her a deal, if she ate all her lunch, she could have ice cream. About 50 minutes later, it was time to go and the girl had barely touched her salad, she was too busy playing. As I started to pack up, she yells at me, "BUT I WAN

Sunday morning. I was just really feeling the need to stay home and spend time with my family today. Normally we would go to church and then Cherry Berry/Crabby Patties, but today, we stayed home. Use to be that Sunday night was pizza night. It's been a long time since we had Sean made pizza. The girls LOVE making their own. It is fun to watch them. Three different kinds of cheese And bacon makes for a happy Millie. Don't forget that olive! Square pants making hers. That bad girl ate all the olives! Once their pizza went in the oven, it was time to work on ours. Getting ready to Toss! I could never ever in a million years do that! Autumn covering our pizza so it would have some time to rise. She really did not want me to take her picture tonight. Girl pizza came out of the oven and ours Went in. Oh my-lanta.... that looks delicious. Can I eat it raw? So begins the best part of pizza night for Millie! Eating the leftover cheeses
