Independence Day Camping.

There is going to be a lot of pictures. There is going to be a lot of pictures of the girls. Just wanted to get that out of the way. After we loaded up the Jeep, I walk outside and the girls have Ariel (the cat) with them. She took off just as I was snapping a photo. Could she look any more stupid? Like most of our trips, we require a stop at KK. Donut holes! Bass Pro Shops is stop #2. Got to get our guns on. After a stop for lunch, we drove down this very long dirt road and spotted our campsite. It wasn't the one I had in mind, but it was the only one that seemed appealing. I was surprised how busy the campground was. The year before, it was a ghost town. Winner winner! Complete with a river running through camp. The girls see this as an opportunity to collect rocks, "gold" and get wet. Why are you interrupting me trying to find gold? After a few minutes, she found some! It does kind of look like gold. Millie approved.

We decided we wanted to give you another try. THIS year, it would be super fabulous if: #1. It didn't rain quite so much. We can handle some, but please, no floods this year. #2. For no one to lock their keys in the car. #3. For the girls to spend more time outside of the Jeep rather than in it. #4. A little less wind, please? #5. A fish? Any fish? Where on earth are all the dang fish? #6. If these big, giant Gary Biders did not find themselves in the Jeep. I know that Autumn is going to remember the Gary Bider incident in the Jeep when we arrive in North Georgia. It is forever stained on my mind...... #7. We would love more bears to come to our campsite to check out our garbage that we didn't hang quite high enough. #8. More magical waterfall moments. #9. More sweet, sweet childhood laughter. #10. Again, a little less rain. Having to cover the fire because of the rain was pretty lame!! #11. Finally, for there to be no tickets is
