It's my party and

I'll cry if I want to! Today is my birthday, no crying though! Sean, Autumn and Emelia treated me to an Immersion blender, chopper and fleece jacket. All of which are wonderful gifts. Thank you family!!! I forgot to mention this, but Emelia had her 6 month check up this past week. She weighed in at 18 pounds on the dot and was 28.5 inches long. She has really started babbling over the last week or so and I must say, I'm really enjoying her words. Here is to another happy year. The Jordan's.

A day of thanks.

For the first time since Autumn was born, Sean shared a Thanksgiving meal with us. It seemed so unreal all day long that he would actually be here. Besides Goofing off, we had A TON of food! Emelia took her place at the end of the table Ate from one of my China cups and Autumn Took her place at the other end of the table. We went around the table starting with Sean stating what we were grateful for. Sean said he was grateful for his family. Autumn said she was grateful for Autumn and snakes! I am grateful for family and...... Turkey! Emelia enjoyed apple/strawberry. Autumn enjoyed sparkling cider. Cheers! It really was delicious. Sean made me some pecan pie (for my birthday). Applebutter pumpkin pie! Can you guess who this is? Happy Thanksgiving Winston!!! We cannot wait to meet you! After dinner we shoveled about a foot of snow out of the driveway. It is still snowing now. I tried to get some pictures of the girls, but they weren't really cooperating. Emelia. Autumn and Eme

We've been meaning to go for a few weeks now, but finally, we got out on our (Sean's) snow shoes. We headed over to Ship Creek Trail. Not to far from the house, not too technical and you can sled there if you like. Emelia got in the car and Drove us there. Oh just kidding, I had to include these pictures though because she is so darn cute. I had Emelia. Sean had Autumn. On a side note, we finally got our hard top and I must admit, having that glass back there makes it so much easier to get in and out than with the soft top. We got everybody all geared up, took a few photos, I guess this is boring...... But I love to take her little picture. Then got moving. Off they go. Isn't it pretty out there? We need to get Autumn use to the snow again. It happens every year and we sort of have to train her to deal with the conditions, after a few weeks, she'll be good to go again. Emelia did great- she was talking, cooing, excited and everything else about being out there. A

A random act of kindness.

We've been busy this week. Yesterday, I watched Jenny's kiddos for her- Izzy (who is one day younger than Autumn)and Isaac who turned one in September. We survived 12 hours together and managed to have some fun too. It's been lightly snowing off and on, so we put the kids in their snow gear and headed outside. What a doll. Let me tell you, Emelia was smitten with Isaac. Isaac was like a little puppy, picking up scraps of food the girls left behind. He wasn't very interested in going outside- I blame it on the hot pink snow pants. I couldn't find anything boyish to put on him. Sean and the girls took to snow removal. I bet Jenny didn't know I'd put her kids to work! For the most part, the girls did an excellent job of sharing and playing nice. There was one incident where I put them in time out for hitting each other and told them they had to stay there until they said they were sorry. No kidding, they both sat in time out for 30 minutes before they
