Kaitlyn's 6th Birthday Party Celebration.

Image
Since moving to Georgia, I've gone home at least once a month. September was no exception. It was Kaitlyn's birthday party and I wanted to be there for it. Here are our pictures! Autumn playing games with me. My niece Abby. Autumn took my picture. The birthday girl Kaitlyn. My niece Taylor. My sister Devonne. Emelia. My sister Sarah bara butt (and Kaitlyn's mom). Taylor is so cute. I wish you could see Emelia and Taylor together, they are such a hoot. There was swimming and a slip in slide. Swinging. Contemplating drowning. Taylor did go in the pool later in the day and yes, Devonne dove in after her fully clothed. Autumn swimming with her cousins. Abby do. My lone nephew on my side of the family, Cole! I mainly took this photo for Sean so that he could see Autumn was putting her legs behind her finally. She had been doing this walk sort of swim thing. She really is getting the hang of it. Hannah Montana birthday cake. Lighting the candle. Blowing it out. Check out those pu

Hot Air Balloons.

Earlier this month we went up to Callaway gardens to see some hot air balloons. We got to the gardens extra early and walked around. It was SO hot, the girls just had to have some Popsicles. Emelia always makes such a mess. Autumn on the other hand, doesn't waste a drop. Some days I do not even feel needed. We waited for awhile, then took a walk around the lake. Or a run. Finally, one of the balloons made it up! We walked around to the other side of the lake and managed this shot. My favorite shot of the evening! Once it got dark, we got to see a show! All in all, it was a fun day! I cannot wait to do it again next year (although next year we won't get there so early!!). Autumn's been asking to go on a hot air balloon ride every since we went to this. I am hoping we can do that in the ne

Whatever happened to Roww?

Roww was accidentally left behind in Canada. I called the hotel we stayed at in the Yukon and fortunately, Roww was still there! I gave the desk clerk our forwarding address and thanked her profusely for holding on to Roww for us. Once we got to Grandma and Grandpa Jordan's house, I guess I was expecting Roww to be waiting on us. Little did I know there was a mail strike in Canada. After several weeks passed and still no Roww, I decided to call back. I left a message with the hotel and several hours later we got a phone call. The desk clerk who took our address down the first time, misplaced it. They had been waiting for us to call back. Grandpa Jordan gave them our address and a few short weeks later we got a package in the mail. Sean and I knew what was in the package, but Autumn had no idea. Is it a coffee pot mom? No Autumn, you have to open it. Is it a bag mom? No Autumn, you have to open it. Can you see the excitement on her face? Autumn exclaims "Roww was in the mail mo
