Hot Air Balloon Festival.

Sometimes I walk outside and I find strange things.... Case in point. I guess Autumn felt like Prince needed a friend... who was also gray? The girls got some new hair bows. Millie loves her Minnie clips. Got everyone/thing loaded into the jogger. We ate dinner. Then we walked, and walked, and walked. The girls ran, dance, sang, pledged their allegiance. All sorts of things! Autumn said the pledge of allegiance to ALL the people she came in contact with. Best picture I could get of Millie with the balloons. That girl was eating the sand. Talk about gross. I guess at least she wasn't licking anyone? It was bitter sweet being there without you. I was thinking about the pictures from last year and how much different the girls look now. Maybe I'll post just a few of those tomorrow. Anyway, it made me miss you so much. I love you. Your current wife and favorite airman. xoxo The count: 70 days of hot a

Running away.

Another busy day. Millie fell asleep at 5 pm Wednesday and did not wake up until 0630 am this morning. That girl was tired! Both woke up in a wonderful mood this morning though. Ready for school, minus Millie's glasses. Today's show and tell was for the letter K, hence the Hello Kitty dress. Autumn brought her kite, Kool-aid and some Hello Kitty accessories. I think Millie was grouchy about matching shoes, although she picked those out today. I noticed something about the grass yesterday. Do you see what I see? Doesn't she look silly? Finally, a happy face from Millie. I pick the girls up from school and then pull over to look at all their school stuff. Funny this was in Millie's bag since you were just asking me how tall the girl was. After looking through all the papers, we head over to Chickfila to pick up lunch to eat in the car on the way to the dentist. Autumn mostly stayed right in front of this fish tank! They both liked it.

What a long day!

I had such a long day today. I let the girls skip nap to hang out with Aunt Tina and your mom (something I rarely ever do, but some people are worth that hassle!). After completing my Max Cardio workout this morning, I showered up and put on something besides workout clothes. I picked the girls up from school and met your mom and Aunt Tina at Red Lobster. I had scallops and shrimp with peach bourbon sauce. It was good, but I overate. I guess I wasn't the only one, so we decided we should walk around the mall to burn off some of that lunch. We were there for at least two hours. Aunt Tina and I tried some stuff on, but neither one of us bought anything. I went to Orange Julius and got a drink from there. That was good and Autumn and Millie enjoyed their strawberry banana. I think the last time I had OJ, I was in high school! We left and came home and it was like Christmas! My REI package came. Autumn was so excited. Can you tell I'm gearing up for winter?
