We have wonderful news!

Image
We found out today that we will be moving to Fort Benning, Georgia this summer! I'm so excited and cannot wait to move. We've been looking at houses, not sure exactly where we will live yet, but we will be just down the road from Grandma and Grandpa Jordan and just a few hours from my mom and dad. On to my beautiful girls. Sometimes you just like to get in a dog crate. Emelia get your gun. Autumn's expression cracks me up. Emelia, did you not pay attention during gun training class? I think this should sum up our visit! Your favorite wife and airman. xoxo

It's hot!

Today it was 75 degrees. That is at least a 50 degree difference from what we are used to. The girls spent the entire day just about outside. Everytime I brought Emelia in, she crawled over to the door and cried to go back out. I'm hoping to take as much advantage of the weather as possible. Emelia was having a good time being pushed around in that dump truck by her older cousin, Taylor (who by the way is only ten months old and walking for a few months), until.... Oh Autumn, your dad would be so proud. Whoops... wrecked out. Women drivers.... I promise to try and take a nice picture of Emelia tomorrow. I've actually got a ton of pictures, it is just going to take some time to go through them. Tomorrow it will be just me and the girls in the morning. Not sure what we are going to do just yet, but we plan to do some stuff around town. I love you and miss you. Your favorite wife and airman. xoxo

We made it!

We made it to South Carolina in one piece. The worst part of our trip was Emelia falling out of the seat on the plane and smacking her face and then dumping a great big glass of apple juice all over me and Autumn. It is so hot here. We are just loving it. Autumn keeps telling me that the sun is burning her. She misses her dad and asks to go home, but she is having such a good time with all of her cousins. Autumn loves her grandpa and I'm hoping she will warm up to grandma soon. I miss you Sean and wish you were here. I have one photo from the last time we were here and one new photo from this trip. I'll be posting some more tomorrow. This was Autumn November 2009, our last visit to SC. Autumn now... relishing in the warmth of Charleston and enjoying an ice cream. The Jordan's.

Dylan's birthday.

We had a wonderful time. I said my goodbye's. Not sure if I will see Cindy before we leave for South Carolina. Autumn was the first one to hit the floor for the candy. It was so funny to watch how different the boys and girls decorated their cookies. Autumn was so careful and precise. She put specific sprinkles in specific places. Don't judge me for the next set of photos. I know I am horrible. OK, from a distance, I don't trust you spider. Getting a little closer. Total melt down. I know how terrible that is. At first I didn't think the spider was turned on. Then I wanted to get the picture. Emelia is OK. I miss you. Your favorite wife and airman. xoxo 5 days without you.

Tag team.

Sometimes I think it isn't truly possible for you to understand the world I live in. I went from being an active duty member in the Air Force, where I dealt with on a daily basis, whining/lying/childish behavior from adults, to being a mother, where lets face it.... there is an awful lot of whining. On the upside, at least they are actually children and at least they are cute whilst doing it. So here is the situation. Autumn spilled something on her blanket (barbecue sauce). The blanket is old, three years old at least. The blanket is falling apart. I am doing my best not to wash it very often, but there was no way to get around the sauce. I knew it was going to be an issue with Autumn, she can barely stand to be separated from said blanket. I thought that if she "helped" me clean it, maybe she wouldn't be so distraught. Wrong! She sat there for quite sometime. She cried. She would get down and check on blanket in the washing machine occasionally. I did my best to dis
