The biggest surprise of their life.

Image
I have a ton of pictures, but limited amount of time. This morning we went to the pumpkin patch. The girls had so much fun. After, we headed to Legoland. Again, the girls had so much fun, but they had NO idea what was in store for them.... While in Legoland, I received the call I had been waiting for..... The little people had absolutely NO CLUE what was getting ready to happen to them. We drove to the airport and found someone... THEIR DAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At first, they were so stunned, they couldn't even respond. It was only a matter of moments before the smiles began. Reunited with Walden. My cup runneth over. I will post more pictures and hopefully one of all four of us soon. The girls have been a laughing smiling mess and couldn't be more excited to have their dad home. Millie began squealing with joy and Autumn said, "but I'm not five yet?" Autumn told Sean she missed him so much and I just could not be happier at this m

Nails.

My tire keeps getting really low on air. I decided that since we are driving a bit tomorrow to Atlanta for Legoland, I should get it checked out. I thought I bought my tires from Walmart, but when I went through my receipts, turned out they were from Sears. I drove over there and she asked me if we purchased the road hazard and I said I didn't know. I did however have ALL my paperwork and apparently we did. They checked my tires and found 3 nails. 2 in the one that kept going flat. I saw at least one plug go in that tire. The third nail is now in the front driver side. He said it wasn't leaking and did I want him to take it out? I told him I guess not, if it starts giving me trouble, I can always bring the car back in. He said the alignment was fine and they rotated the tires for me. I have this feeling I acquired nails when I went to the new part of our neighborhood to see the new houses that are under construction. Although, I have no idea! While I waited

What day is it?

I am having a terrible time keeping up with the days of the week. If the girls didn't have school, it would be really bad. I know that tomorrow is the one day of the week that Millie always gets right!!!!!!! I ran 9.5 miles today. I feel pretty good. My legs are a little twitchy, but OK. I had leftovers for dinner. Autumn and Millie had spaghetti, and Autumn also had a poptart. Busy, busy week this week. Thursday is the school field trip to the pumpkin patch, and then Legoland in Atlanta. I hope we have a blast. I love you and miss you. Your current wife and airman. xoxo 116

Her first patch.

Autumn was so excited to earn a patch from AWANA. She asked me, "Do you think daddy will be proud?" Here it is. Autumn is really worried about getting the patch on her vest. I told her we would worry about it after Thursday. Showing you her cubby book. She didn't want to show her face (I think because of the sun). Arghhhh matey. Uh, Millie? Maybe that isn't such a good idea? "Sick eye." Awwww! She knows that is her bad eye. It made me so sad. This is from yesterday. Autumn ended up wearing her Dora pjs for AWANA night. Riding bikes in the house is so much fun! Autumn seemed happy to go back to school. I'll admit, she was a little reluctant. It was thunder storming this morning and she wanted to stay in bed, but so did I. When we went to Florida, our plants had a rough time. There wasn't anyone here to feed them. I sort of figured the pickle plant was a lost cause. It hadn't produced anything yet, so I thought

Cheese! Butternut Squash.

Last night we had salad and pizza for dinner. So glad our children eat salad and pizza too! Millie mostly ate cheese and croutons. This morning when I walked in my bathroom, I found this. I guess Millie was sending me a message.... This is where you can find your cinnamon roll later. I was trying to get a picture of all three of us this morning, but Millie kept closing the door, ringing the door bell and saying "DELIVERY!" So, she is sort of in the picture. Do you see who else is hanging out with us? Gary Bider!! Me and Silly Millie, almost ready for church. OK, here are both the girls and all ready! They went into class together and we didn't see your mom or dad at church this morning. They must have gone out or something. After Millie took her nap, Autumn wanted to help me make dinner. Oh yes, very helpful girl right there. She is so goofy. I prepared the squash (slippery), the onion (too stinky), but Autumn took care of the garlic.

When I'm feeling blue

Maybe I should start with last night..... I was so tired last night. More than normal. I know it was likely from cutting the grass. It really does a number on my allergies and I'm not sure what our course of action will be in the future in regards to that. There has to be something I can do to help me not feel so awful after having cut the grass. I'm very conscience of breathing through my nose when I'm cutting the grass, but my eyes burns and it takes several days to recover fully from mowing. I'm wondering if I should wear a hospital mask thing and some protective eye wear (I have some!)? Anyway, I had to take an allergy pill before bed and I was just very worn out and at some point, Autumn ended up in the bed with me. I thought it was like 5 or 6 am when she climbed in, but after a few hours, I rolled over and looked at the clock and it was 3 am. SO, Miss Autumn pretty much spent the night with me. She kept twitching though. I don't know if she w
