Even Steven

I have pictures to post, but I shut the computer down and well, I don't feel like booting it on. My head hurts for some reason. I think I need water, my mouth is dry. I need to go over to the "elephantry" school tomorrow for a registration packet. I am meeting Tricia (Millie's teacher) tomorrow for a run. I am considering wearing my combat boots with my brand new sexy dress. Conversation with Autumn today. Autumn: I always let Boyd go through first. (I actually have no idea what that means). Cherish: Is Boyd your best friend? Autumn: Yes. I love him very much. Cherish: Is he your boy friend? Autumn: Yes, but I will tell him later! This girl cracks me up. I just asked what she meant earlier about letting Boyd go first. Autumn: when we go to the table, I scooch my chair back and let Boyd go through first. Autumn tells me that Miss Keri has been talking to them about kindergarten. I am glad to hear that. We had the homefront meeting tonight.

8 miles.

This morning I took the girls to school. Talked to a postal employee about my dilemma with Sarah Marie. They said they would keep an eye out for it and deliver it for me. Thank goodness! Then I ran. I bumped into two parents from Autumn's class out on the trail. Brody's mom and dad. She asked me how far I was going, I had just finished 5 miles and told her 8. I'm happy to say that I only walked once and it was 2/10ths of a mile. I picked the girls up from school and got a message from Pearl wanting to meet at the park. We grabbed some lunch and headed over to Psalmond Road Rec area. The girls played for about 2 hours. We came home and I tried to nap, but that wasn't happening. The girls were just not going to let me! 4 pm, Millie falls asleep on the couch! Bad girl. We are headed to church in a little bit, so I figured I should type to you now. Everyone keeps posting pictures of snow and it makes me miss the snow. Remember this? Autumn's

The days are getting longer.

I don't mean that time is slowing down (although, it does feel that way at times), but that it is almost 630 pm and there is still light out. Sunshine even. I like it. Another busy day around here. Before I get to it though, I figured something out today. Sarah Marie read off the address I gave her and instead of 7998, she said 7988. I'm going to go in the post office tomorrow because she sent another letter to the wrong address today, this time priority and ask them if they can keep an eye out for it and deliver it anyway, since it has my name and the address is SO close. ARGH! This week at Autumn's school they are celebrating Dr Seuss' birthday. Today was dress tacky day and Autumn had a few ideas of how she wanted to look. She has on purple halloween tights that have cats on them. Socks that do not match, shoes that do not match and she asked me to fix her hair Into three pony tails. I thought she did an excellent job of figuring out her tacky out

Monday, Monday.

This is where your parents are.... PCB. Hey Jim bob!!! Monday Chores? CHECK! Millie's room cleaned up. I decluttered Autumn's room and the playroom. I decluttered a little bit of Millie's closet. All this stuff is going to Jen. Millie was being bad, bad, bad. She took stuff off Autumn's wall, rearranged the animals. Bad, bad, bad. After taking care of the house, we went to grab Autumn from school. Then we needed to Check on the spawn of Satan, I mean Pepper. Millie was like, I do not think so cat! Next up, West Georgia Eye Care. We waited for 20 minutes for someone to get me the strap for Millie's eye glasses. $25. UGH! As we walked out, the lady said, "see you next time." Seriously, I wanted to flip her off. This is about the time I apparently lost my mind. I went to JC Penney to try on a few dresses. I want to find something nice to wear in a few days for a special event. The girls were bad and none of the dres

A wishing star.

Did you know that you can only make a wish upon a wishing star? Autumn informed me of that this evening on our way home from church. I heard her whispering something, but didn't want to break the cardinal rule of asking someone what they wished for. Autumn: I wished for something very special to come back to me. Me: Oh really. Autumn: It is black. Do you know what it is? Me: No. I'm not sure. Autumn: It is black. It has four legs and is very special to me. Do you know what it is? Me: Yes I do. I wish he would come back too. Our cats, both Prince and Penelope have gone missing. Penelope has been missing well over a month and the last time I saw Prince was February 5th. It is hard to hang on to much hope that they are still out there somewhere. It is hard to just not know. We've had quite the busy day today. We went to church this morning, and then after church, we stopped by Zaxby's and picked up a chicken finger plate. Headed home to change
