Days like this

I am almost to the halfway mark of my antibiotic infusion treatment.

When I arrived at infusion today, my temperature was up a bit.

By the end of infusion, I had a low grade fever.

I have been feeling a little crummy today.

My head hurts a lot.

The nurse told me to keep an eye on my fever and if it goes over 101.3, I'll be admitted back to the hospital.

I am really hoping it is just a little allergy problem and nothing to concern myself with.

It wears on you to go to the hospital every day.

The taste of metal in your mouth all the time.

I am so grateful to have my port because it kept me out of the hospital this go around, but I am tired.

It is easy to get bumped on your chest, Millie straight up hit a badminton birdie at my port (not on purpose, it just happened).

I can taste the heaprin, saline ALL THE TIME.

Figuring out how to do normal when you feel anything but......

I don't know, some days you are just blue.

Here it is Sunday and this is what I am doing.

"When it's not always raining there'll be days like this

When there's no one complaining there'll be days like this

When everything falls into place like the flick of a switch

Well my mama told me there'll be days like this

When you don't need to worry there'll be days like this

When no one's in a hurry there'll be days like this

When you don't get betrayed by that old Judas kiss

Oh my mama told me there'll be days like this

When you don't need an answer there'll be days like this

When you don't meet a chancer there'll be days like this

When all the parts of the puzzle start to look like they fit it

Then I must remember there'll be days like this

There'll be days like this

When everyone is up front and they're not playing tricks

When you don't have…"
